Dhaka-- (UNB) – A high profile British business team arrives here Saturday on a five-day visit to Bangladesh.

The six-member team includes participants from the IT, agriculture equipment, ceramics, electrical measurement and water equipment sectors, said a release of the British High Commission.

North Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce has organised the visit sponsored by Trade Partners UK.

The main purpose of the mission is to allow the UK companies to familiarise themselves with the commercial environment in Bangladesh, paying particular attention to the economic, industrial and business climate.

The mission members will also be looking for opportunities to establish new trading relationship with a view to improving the already excellent business relationship between Bangladesh and the UK.

The team members will meet with ministers, senior government officials and business people to facilitate and support the development of new business opportunities.
